Sleeping six people in three bedrooms, this detached property is between thevillages of Llanilar and Llanfarian in mid Wales.

Glanmad is a detached cottage between the villages of Llanilar and Llanfarian in mid Wales, around 4 miles from Aberystwyth. The property has a king-size double room, a double room and a room with adult bunks. There is a family bathroom with bath, shower cubicle, basin and WC, and a ground floor basin and WC. The kitchen is well equipped and has a TV and dining area, the sitting room has a woodburning stove, and there is a conservatory with lovely views over the countryside. Outside is a large patio with furniture and built-in BBQ, and lawn. There is also ample off road parking. Glanmad is within easy reach of walking, cycling, coastlines, mountains and waterfalls, making it the ideal year-round base.

The university town of Aberystwyth lies on the west coast of Wales and is a thriving metropolis of shops, restaurants, pubs and tea-rooms. This vibrant location also has museums to explore, excellent cinema and is home to the National Library of Wales. A typically Victorian promenade lines the seafront and the cliff-top ruins of Aberystwyth castle dominate the entire town. A wealth of attractions are designed to entertain and inspire visitors to explore further afield. The scenic 20-mile cycle route and footpath on the Ystwyth Trail follows a wonderful woodland and river path and links Aberystwyth to Tregaron. A trip on the Steam Railway from Aberystwyth to Devil’s Bridge is a great way to visit the falls.
